Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Ohio recently bought the property at 2016 Ferguson Road in Western Hills as a new branch office--relocating an old office from a Glenway Avenue strip mall. Planned Parenthood bought the property under the name Mount Auburn Parking LLC.
This new property is located in a fairly residential area, within a block of Western Hills High School. Students are bussed to Western Hills High School from other areas of the city, and the student population is predominately African American. Within a few miles are several large Catholic High Schools--Seton, Elder, and Mother of Mercy.
Planned Parenthood is buying land all over the country to build closer to African American populations (Aurora, Houston, Portland, etc.), and it appears that the trend is happening here. Also, this move fulfills a business marketing strategy for increased clients.
Most of Planned Parenthood's clients are under age 25--high school and college age young women. Moving closer to four high schools will provide ready access to this age group.
Regardless of this branch office's initial small size, it takes little space to promote abortions, if not on-site, through referral to the Auburn Ave. abortion mill; distribute emergency contraceptives, condoms, and the RU-486 medical abortion drug (in Ohio without having to follow FDA guidelines); and promote Planned Parenthood's promiscuous sex "education," while leaving parents out of the picture.
